Vegetable Soup

This is great 'comfort food' or anytime food! I serve it with grilled cheese sammiches!! :)

1 lb ground beef
1/2 yellow onion (diced)
1 16oz bag frozen mixed vegetables
1 6oz can tomato paste
2 cups hot water
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
salt and pepper to taste

Cook beef with onion until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add tomato paste and water. Blend well. Stir in vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt & pepper to taste.


Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer on low for 30 - 45 minutes, or until all the vegetables are soft.
